Well, I'm an artist located in southern Louisiana. My family has been sugarcane farmers for five generations. I plan on attending the University of New Orleans for videography next fall. I live in the country, and have all my life, but I love the city. I recently took a bus tour by Caravan of the east coast, and we passed through, most memorably in my opinion, Boston, Massachusetts, Portland, Maine, and Martha's Vineyard. All of them were bustling with activity, and all were so enjoyable that I want to go again!
There are a lot of people who say to "paint what you know".
But in my case, I find it much more fun to go to new places and paint what I see there instead.
